The Whole 30 – Dinner 19

I now know when I’m protein deficient. There is a distinct difference between “hungry” and “protein hungry”.  I had a huge salad for lunch. So big I couldn’t finish the whole thing. So I was “full” for several hours, but still … Not. I had two egg whites whipped into some coconut cream and cocoa around 6pm, because I thought I wasn’t hungry, but wanted a little something “treat-like”. By 8pm, I was back in need of “real food”. Lesson learned. I had a nice steak and sautéed (in ghee) mushrooms, and now I feel well again. I know I ate late, but this whole weekend’s schedule has been off. Tomorrow, I return to “normal”, just in time for the last ten days of this program.
